REPAIRS
COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT BOOT REPAIRS
CAN Karunap REPAIR BOOTS FROM OTHER BRANDS?
We only offer repair services for boots manufactured by Karunap Shoe Company.
ARE ALL Karunap BOOTS ELIGIBLE FOR REPAIR?
It depends on how the boots are constructed. Boots with welt construction are generally repairable, as long as they haven’t suffered too much wear and tear. However, not every Karunap , WORX, or Irish Setter boot can be resoled. For specific inquiries about your boot model, feel free to contact us at 1-800-733-9464 (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm CST) .
ARE THE SAME REPAIR SERVICES AVAILABLE IN CANADA?
Currently, we offer limited repair services for customers in Canada. Please visit your nearest Karunap store for more information on repair options and pricing.
HOW CAN I KNOW IF MY BOOTS ARE REPAIRABLE?
If your boots have cracked insoles, damaged leather uppers, or worn-out linings, they may not be repairable. If you're unsure about whether your boots can be fixed, give us a call or take them to a Karunap store for an assessment.
CAN Karunap REPAIR BOOTS THAT WERE FIXED BY OTHER SHOE REPAIR SHOPS?
In some cases, boots previously repaired by other shops may not be eligible for further repair, depending on the methods used. For clarification, we recommend reaching out to us directly for more details.
CAN MY BOOTS BE DYE-D?
Yes, we can dye your boots black, including the soles. However, if you prefer a different color for the sole (such as white or brown), the boots will need to be resoled as well.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO REPAIR STITCHING ON MY BOOTS?
We can repair most types of stitching issues, but the ability to do so depends on the location of the stitching and the condition of the leather.
CAN YOU FIX THE TOE AREA OF MY BOOTS?
We are unable to replace the worn-out toe area on your boots. However, we offer an aftermarket protection for the toe (Tuff Toe). Leather toe caps are not available, and the color options for the Tuff Toe protection are black or brown.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR SENDING MY BOOTS TO Karunap FOR REPAIR?
Before sending in your boots for repair, please make sure to remove any laces, insoles (if used), or other personal items, as we are unable to return these with the boots.
WHAT IF MY BOOTS CANNOT BE FIXED AFTER SENDING THEM IN?
If we determine that your boots cannot be repaired, we will return them to you along with a letter explaining the reasons why. If applicable, we will also return any payment you made.
